CoCoon Student Training in Entrepreneurship Programme

Since last year, the BAFS and Economics Departments have joined with CoCoon Foundation to promote entrepreneurial education in our College by organising the Jockey Club CoCoon Student Training in Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP). The CoCoon STEP aims to enhance students’ adaptability and mental resilience in a rapidly evolving world through impactful and creative entrepreneurial challenges and meaningful work internships.

We were delighted to run STEP Two workshop face-to-face this year. During the workshop, students were taught about design thinking and how to create an innovative product. They learnt the importance of empathy by asking what the communities are challenged with rather than what would bring them the most profit. Through various highly interactive activities, students built creative confidence, teamwork and the courage to try.

Our greatest hope for participating students is that they can leverage entrepreneurship as a life skill to find their unique talents and discover purposeful endeavours they can realise for the global community.
