Leung Ching Tung, Chloe (S5), Tsang Nan Ju, Molly (S5), and Tsang Yan Lam, Anna (S5) were awarded the first runner-up in an inter-school online science competition organised by HKU Science Outreach Team on 29 December 2021.  

In the online competition, the three students had to respond to questions in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. After that, they had to write a proposal to solve science problems in authentic situations.

The competition aimed to unearth students’ potential in science. It was hoped that participants would identify and solve problems like a scientist does.
