The Annual Athletics Meet was held on 18 October 2022 at Wan Chai Sportsground. Miss Leung Kwan Yi, current Hong Kong Women’s 4x100m youth record holder, Sr Agnes Law, our School Supervisor and Sr Veronica Fok, our Principal, officiated at the sports event.

On this occasion, students performed to their full potential whilst the cheers roared from the spectator’s stand. The sprinters dashed across the lanes in a matter of a few minutes while the long distance athletes proved their tenacity. On the field, we had students striving to give their best performance in high jump, long jump, shot put, discus throw and javelin throw events.

Claire Magdalene Tang (Keller), Chan Yin Yan Venus (Bronte), Lo Hiu Ching Kylie (Keller) and Yeung Nok Ching Faith (Pankurst) earned the individual championships in A, B and C Grades and brought glory to their own houses. House of Keller and House of Curie took down the A Grade and B Grade house championships respectively. House of Pankurst was the champion of C Grade and overall champion of this year’s Annual Athletics Meet.

The Annual Athletics Meet is always a delightful event in which we celebrate the collaborative effort and sportsmanship of our students. Nevertheless, none of this could have been achieved without our Physical Education Department, Sports Society, the six houses, uniform groups, student and teacher officials, School IT Team, Campus TV, school photographers, the janitors and the guidance of advisers from the English Speech and Debating Society.
