Graduation Ceremony 2022-2023

The Graduation Ceremony took place on 6 July in the College Hall. It was our pleasure to have the presence of Sr Agnes Law, School Supervisor, Ms Lusan Hung, our Guest of Honour, Ms Julianna Sham, Chairlady of the Alumnae Association, Mr. Benny Cheuk, Vice-Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association, Sr Veronica Fok, Principal, Miss Irene Yung, Miss Chan Yuk Lin and Mr David Hung, Assistant Principals, S6 homeroom teachers, together with teachers and parents to celebrate the achievements of our graduates and students with distinctive performance in different fields.

In her address to the graduates, Ms Lusan Hung, a seasoned professional in accounting and business consultation and an active board member holding many public offices, reminded the graduates of the commitment to share with others what we have learnt. As a member of public office at the national level, Ms Hung stressed that every appointment is an opportunity to learn. She shared the value of humility which allows us to see how much we need to learn and how much other people have learnt.

Natalie Chew from the Head Girl Core Group gave a vote of thanks on behalf of all graduates. She gave an account of colourful recollections of school life despite the exclusive experiences this class of 2022-2023 went through since S1. The graduates took pride in the unique challenges and opportunities to overcome difficulties. They were grateful for the School’s effort to create conditions conducive to learning and resume student activities that enlivened their lives and nurtured a strong sense of charity in humility.

The dedication of teachers was also recognised with the Long Service Award Sr Agnes and Sr Veronica presented to Miss Chang Wai Fong and Miss Carol Lee.

The School Dance Team treated the audience to an Irish Dance before the ceremony ended with the School Song sung in unison. A special thanks must go to the Home Management and Housecraft Club for preparing delightful refreshments for our special guests.
