The Religious and Moral Education Department organised a Catholic Formation Day for Secondary Five Catholic students to strengthen their religious faith.
Held in Honeyville Canossian Retreat House, the Formation Day began with an introduction of the history of the Retreat House by Sr. Anna Maria Kwan. From the sharing, our students learnt about the services provided by the Canossian Sisters in special education and spiritual guidance.
With Sr. Catherine Fung as the spiritual directress, our students were guided to reflect on how to follow in the footsteps of St. Magdalene of Canossa to ‘Set Life On Fire’ through a series of prayer, meditation, sharing and workshop.
The Catholic Formation Day provided a valuable chance for our Catholic students to stay a moment with God, with oneself, and with companions in Christian life.
