Following the School Re-opening Mass, Sr Veronica Fok, Miss Renie Sinn, Miss Irene Yung, Mr David Hung and Miss Chan Yuk Lin, the official party of the installation of student leaders in office, presented badges to endorse their approval of the student leaders of the school year. 

Sr Veronica, our school supervisor presented the badge to this year’s Head Girl, Wong Hiu Wai Stpehanie, while Miss Sinn and Miss Yung presented badges to members of Head Girl Core Group.  Miss Sinn also presented the badge to Head Prefect, Chan Yin Chit Sheryn. Miss Chan and Mr Anthony Mo presented badges to the two Deputy Heads, Chan Hoi Ching Vivian and Wan Tsz Ching Sarina. Miss Sinn, Mr Hung and Student Council Advisers presented badges to the President of the elected Student Council, Amicitia, and members of the Student Council executive committee.

Leaders of major student bodies also received their badges from the official party and teacher advisers. They included Captains of the six Houses; Head and Deputy Head of Career Assistants; Head Librarian and Deputy Head Librarians; Head and Deputy Head of IT Prefects’ Board, Chairlady and Vice Chairlady of Green Torch; Head and Deputy Head of Learning Ambassadors; Head and Deputy Head of Community Service Ambassadors as well as Guidance Sisters.

In the Head Girl’s address to the school, Stephanie Wong recalled the resilience and perseverance of the six Canossian sisters who travelled from Italy to Hong Kong in 1860 to promote education for women. She encouraged all students to carry forward their legacy and uphold the values of our school. The Head Girl encouraged all students to dream big and follow their aspirations. She wished them a memorable year and urged them to fully live up to their roles as Sacred Heartists.

The installation ceremony drew to a close with the School Song.
