S6 Thanksgiving Mass 2024-2025

Rev. Dominique Mukonda, Vice President of Hong Kong Caritas, celebrated the S6 Thanksgiving Mass in the College Hall on June 27.

Rev. Dominique chiefly engaged us into learning from the Sacred Heart of Jesus during the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart.  He borrowed many teenage signs of love and local social media expressions to make clear the impeccable love Jesus has shown on humankind. Through the reading on Ezekiel 34: 11-16, the congregation was drawn closer to Jesus as the Shepherd who sought His lost sheep only to bring it to His own pen. We further prayed for reconciliation between nations at war, wisdom in governance and mutual respect in family relationships.

At the Eucharistic Celebration, our S6 graduates presented six puzzle pieces on the altar. Each of the creative pieces serves as a token of appreciation of the School’s all-round education and core values. The vibrant learning experiences, companionship of teachers, the peers' support to each other, the lab and IT technicians’ assistance, the clerical support, the janitor’ tireless efforts have deeply engraved on the graduates’ minds and made an impact on them.

Sr Veronica, our School Supervisor presented each graduate with a souvenir while Rev. Dominique blessed them with a short prayer.

After the Mass, S6 graduates played videos sharing the indelible moments of school life, friendship and companionship with amusing remarks.
