On 2 November, the Sacred Heart Canossian College community showcased exceptional spirit and creativity at the annual Caritas Charity Bazaar, held at St. Paul’s Convent School. This esteemed event unites the public, schools, and parishes to raise funds for various local initiatives.
The success of our participation was a true collaborative effort, driven by members of the Catholic Society, the Art Team, the Service Team and dedicated student helpers. Together, they created engaging game booths and operated a donation stall that featured a diverse array of items for sale, including dolls, stationery, and other new and second-hand products, all contributing to our charitable proceeds.
The highlight of our achievement was in the Game Design competition, where one of our game booths was honoured with first place.
Beyond the accolades, the event served as a profound exercise in community building. It provided a powerful platform for our students to foster a stronger sense of belonging and deepen their connection to the wider community. By taking direct action to support the underprivileged, they exemplified the strong civic responsibility inherent in our school theme, ‘Earnest Thoughtful Citizens.’
