Graduation Ceremony 2022

The 162nd Graduation Ceremony was held on 6 July 2022 in our College Hall. It was our pleasure to have the presence of the Most Reverend Stephen Chow Sau Yan, S.J., the Bishop of Hong Kong at the Ceremony with our School Supervisor, Chairlady of Alumnae Association, Chairlady of Parent-Teacher Association, our Principal and Assistant Principals to celebrate the graduation and achievements of our S6 students with their parents, Homeroom Teachers and all teachers.

In his address, Bishop Chow reminded our graduates of what matters in life. He stressed that it is not their grades but their personality which defines who they are. He pointed out that challenges give us strength, teach us how to adapt and make us stronger. He also highlighted the importance of determination, resilience and perseverance, which are qualities that enable them to go far in life. He hoped our graduates would remember what the school had taught them and pass it on to the next generation.

In her vote of thanks on behalf of the graduates, Head Girl Rachel Lee expressed her gratitude to the School for the all-round education of Christian values and formation of the heart which have transformed them into women of integrity and versatility. Rachel compared their secondary school life to a roller coaster ride full of ups and downs, thanking the school for the opportunities to explore and learn, and the unfailing support and guidance throughout the years.

The School presented the Long Service Award to Ms Wendy Chan and Miss Lau Ling. Sr Agnes and Sr Veronica also presented a token of appreciation as we bid farewell to two retiring teachers, Mr Ignatius Chow and Mr Philip Lee, both of whom have dedicated their lives to educating and nurturing Sacred Heartists during their decades of professional service to the School.
