Speak Up Act Out Drama Competition 2026 – A Triumph for Our Students!

On 17 March, a team of six students Rochelle Lee, Jasmine Siu, Flora Cho, Queena Lai, Celia Lam and Race Lau proudly represented our school in the Speak Up Act Out Drama Competition 2026, organised annually by the NET Section of the Education Bureau. Out of 12 competing teams, our talented performers clinched 2nd place, with Rochelle Lee (S5) earning the prestigious Star Performer Award.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the timeline: the entire process from receiving the stimulus, to scriptwriting, rehearsals, and final performance was completed in just two weeks. Guided by their drama teacher, the students poured their energy and imagination into crafting a captivating play about pirates on a quest to uncover their grandfather’s hidden treasure on a deserted island. Beneath the adventurous storyline lay a powerful message: women’s strength and the importance of never underestimating them.

Through countless rehearsals, the team refined their script and honed their performance skills, ensuring every detail resonated with both judges and audience. Their creativity, teamwork, and perseverance shone brightly, making their drama stand out among the many impressive entries.

This competition was more than just a contest, it was a valuable learning journey, offering students the chance to express themselves, collaborate meaningfully, and showcase their talents on stage.

Congratulations to our young actors and Rochelle Lee for their outstanding achievements!
