On 17 April 2026, six of our talented S2 students proudly represented the school at the English Drama Festival, organised by the Association of English Medium Secondary Schools. Competing in the Readers Theatre Competition category, they captivated the audience with their performance of Pandora’s Box, a classic tale carefully adapted to suit their dramatic style.

Their dedication and teamwork paid off as they clinched the Gold Award for Outstanding Performance, a testament to their creativity, discipline, and stage presence. In addition, the group was honoured with the Outstanding Script Writing Award and the Commendable Award for Spoken English, highlighting both their literary skill and mastery of expression.

A special moment came when Chan Hoi Kiu, Vanessa was named Star Performer, recognising her exceptional talent and contribution to the team’s success.

This remarkable achievement reflects not only the students’ hard work but also the guidance of their drama teacher and the support of the school community. Their success in bringing Pandora’s Box to life demonstrates how literature and performance can inspire, educate, and entertain.
